Like the Yeti, fashion is an elusive beast. Some men find themselves in trouble trying to understand or tame it. But when product sizing differs from brand to brand, size charts are useless or non-existent, and men being every shape possible, there is no wonder why it can be so overwhelming. As a result, these problems usually end with a bad customer experience, additional fees, and varying return processes.

From the brand’s perspective, it’s even worse. They lose out on a potential sale, their inventory is constantly in flux, all while their shipping costs continue to add up. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean the product is bad, it just didn’t work for that person.

The first part of Josh’s career was spent as a corporate finance professional working at global accounting firms, and financial institutions. It was during this time that sparked Josh’s initial idea for Yetee. He began to think more about retail e-commerce as his colleagues and himself started to receive online orders at the office. After witnessing many failed attempts with fit, and how annoying online returns can be, he started to wonder if something could be done to streamline this process to prevent returns, and improve the online shopping experience. With the simple goal of helping men buy the right clothes, in the right size, a Yetee was born.

Formally trained in art and design, Angus is a graphic designer who specializes in corporate branding. In his career, he has co-founded two clothing companies, and helped launch many other brands and products. His experience in fashion design helped him broaden his understanding of fit, and how clothing is manufactured. He understood that each brand sizes their garments differently, and every body type is not represented evenly. With Yetee, his goals are to connect brands with the people they are designing for, inspire more sustainable practices in online shopping, and offer a uniquely personal and efficient e-commerce experience.

Frank is an accomplished technology leader with significant experience building AI and data products for retail marketing use-cases. As a busy guy, Frank does the majority of his shopping online with one notable exception: clothing. He is apprehensive about buying clothes online because of the difficulties surrounding fit. In the rare situation where he needs to return ill-fitting items, he opts to donate or gift them instead. Returning an item is time-consuming, environmentally wasteful, and requires a specific process unique to each vendor. Frank is building Yetee to promote a more sustainable retail practice, and enable consumers to Shop by Fit with confidence.
